A small public building is designed to become the extension of main square of Kecskemet in Hungary. Designed with Allwater Panel system, the energy demand could be minimized even with a large transparent wall surfaces assuring energy efficiency without compromising architectural concept.
Designed next to 2 other small public buildings, dedicated to Naive Arts and Children “Playhouse”, the building opens toward main square with a total transparent/translucent facade. This can be achieved with Allwater Panel in effective way: walls collect and transport heat during summer, and provide heat mass in winter for ideal microclimate.
Building inhabits 7 boxes and a large flowing space connecting all of them. Roof works as a filter of sunlight and also projecting the spatial system of the building outside, also emphasizing the boxes indoors.
